Privacy policy
Effective October 20, 2026 (previous version: October 7, 2026). Changes: the Android app and the Wi-Fi connection between devices.
Summary: Splyt does not collect, send, or share any of your data. Everything the app records stays on your devices.
What the app stores, and where
To show your progress, Splyt stores on the device itself the names of the athletes you add, the sessions, the blocks, the reaction times, and the training settings. This data stays only in the app’s local storage. There is no account, server, cloud, or sync between devices. The system’s own backup (iCloud or Google), if it is turned on on the device, may include the app’s data, like that of any other app; Splyt has no access to that backup.
Local network
The app uses the local network (Wi-Fi) only to connect your devices during training, whether they are iPhone, iPad, or Android: the control sends the stimuli and the pods send back the taps. The devices find each other through announcements on the local network (Bonjour/DNS-SD) and exchange messages directly with each other. These messages don’t leave your network and aren’t stored by anyone.
What the app does not do
Splyt has no ads, analytics tools, tracking, advertising identifiers, or third-party SDKs. It does not access location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or health data.
Export
When you export a CSV, the file is generated on the device and goes only where you choose in the system share menu.
How to delete your data
You can archive athletes in the app. To delete everything, delete Splyt from the device: since the data exists only there, nothing is kept anywhere else.
Children
The app does not collect data from anyone, including minors.
Changes to this policy
If a future version starts handling data differently (for example, heart rate from Apple Watch), this page will be updated beforehand, with the date of the change.
